This in-person lecture is a fantastic choice for your elementary school audience. Join me in a lively discussion in which your students will learn about puppetry's branches and the history behind them. With examples and a presentation I will discuss: Shadow Puppetry, marionettes, hand puppets, rod puppets as well as my work in the theme park and stop-motion film industry.

If you are looking for a hands on puppet making workshop then shadow puppets are for you! Students will learn about puppetry, create their own puppet, and have the opportunity to perform. I recommend this workshop for 6 and up. 

Object theater is the art of taking everyday objects and turning them into puppets. This is an on your feet hands-on performing workshop. Students will learn the basics of puppet movement and work in groups to create original performances. I recommend this workshop for 12 and up.
